Dear Esteemed Members of TAVTI,

I am deeply honored to serve as the president of the Texas Association of Vehicle Theft Investigators (TAVTI), and I extend my heartfelt gratitude for entrusting me with this significant responsibility. 

TAVTI owes its strength and vitality to each of its dedicated members. It is our collective effort, our ability to work as a cohesive team, that sets us apart.  At the core of our association lies a strong commitment to familial values, which have been instrumental in our success. As we embark on this journey together, let us remain steadfast in our dedication to learning and knowledge expansion. In our ever-evolving field, staying informed about the latest criminal trends is  imperative.

Our mission as TAVTI is to foster a robust network among all members across New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas. This network will not only help us stay updated but also provide invaluable support for our professional development, enabling us to better serve the citizens in our jurisdictions.

I am equally delighted to have had the opportunity to connect with fellow officers from New Jersey State Police, Arizona State Police, and Texas Parks and Wildlife at this year’s conference in Dallas, Texas. These interactions exemplify the spirit of collaboration and knowledge-sharing that defines our mission.

As we look ahead to the upcoming year, let us set specific goals for TAVTI, aiming for measurable accomplishments that reflect our commitment to excellence. I encourage each member to actively participate, share ideas, and contribute to our shared success.

In closing, I am excited about the possibilities that lie before us. Together, we can achieve great things. I look forward to a productive and successful year ahead  and to the growth of our TAVTI family.
